The Morning After - Well, here we are, the day after our first ever "Musinar." Except for some small technology difficulties, I must say our message came across quite well. Dr. Sandee and I were delivering a rather technical message so I do hope we didn't bore you. However, in my opinion, this message is relevant and important to today's world and potential music students.

Everyone, whether mainstream or not, should have a chance to succeed at music. For teachers to tell a child they cannot experience this, is sad. I believe Dr. Saurman and I made that abundantly clear last evening. So, for those of you watching the show or watching the video for the first time today, if you know of children with challenges, please pass the word that music can be "their reality."

We also touched on the direct connection between homeschooling curricula and our online teaching program. As we proceed here, we expect to align ourselves with several homeschooling programs. Once again, if anyone knows of families homeschooling their children, speak to your administrators in these programs and suggest they contact us for an addition to their curriculum.

Once again, for those who watched our show last night, thanks for your support. We will be planning many more shows with different themes in the coming months. All shows will have an obvious relevance to potential music education endeavors, but each show will be unique into itself with guests bringing energy and awareness in their specific field.

When I referred to right and left Lobes, I meant Hemispheres. Sorry about that.. I want listeners to have the correct terminology! My closing statement did not make the video.. I want to emphasize that if if music is so beneficial neurologically, and developmentally, how could you exclude it from your child's education?!!! Miss Marlene.. you have changed the lives of my girls!!! Sincerely, Dr. SandeeSaurman

It's true!
I had just used that towel to wipe up an accident!
What a trooper you are Marlene! You are definitely so much more than our "piano teacher."
You are our cheerleader, our inspiration, our friend... and our fellow dog lover!
Thank you for going "above and beyond" today!!!
